CloudScaff · Lite
$70.00monthly equivalent

ScaffoldIQ
$434.42monthly equivalent
$399.90 every 28 days
$5,212.98 annualized over 365 days
ScaffoldIQ uses graduated paid-user rates: first 29 at US$39.99, next 70 at US$33.19, next 900 at US$29.99, then US$26.79, per 28-day cycle. Annualized cost = cycle charge × 365 ÷ 28. This is a run rate, not an exact first-year invoice schedule. CloudScaff totals come from its published site tiers; above 200 sites requires a quote.
Excludes taxes, exchange rates, setup effort, and additional products. This calculation does not assert equal feature coverage. Sources: ScaffoldIQ pricing and CloudScaff pricing.
Count paid contributors, not everyone viewing a record
Separate staff who create or change records from people who only need visibility. ScaffoldIQ explicitly offers free view-only users. Treating every customer or observer as a paid user would overstate its subscription cost.
For CloudScaff, identify your active-site requirement and select the matching tier. Unlimited users does not mean unlimited sites. The rate displayed per site on the pricing page is an effective rate within a tier, not a promise of one flat unit price at every site count.

Normalize 28-day billing carefully
The calculator converts a recurring 28-day charge to a 365-day annualized run rate using charge × 365 ÷ 28. Dividing that result by 12 gives a comparable average monthly figure. It is not the amount of an individual invoice or a prediction of the exact number of payment dates within your first calendar year.
CloudScaff's monthly option is shown as twelve monthly payments. Its annual option uses the published upfront annual price. Taxes, exchange rates, implementation effort, and negotiated terms are excluded. Match the work covered before interpreting a difference as a saving.
Compare the whole operating boundary
CloudScaff includes equipment movements alongside site and scaffold records. ScaffoldIQ's overview labels the Quantify integration as coming soon at the review date. Confirm the currently available connection rather than assuming the two Avontus products already provide one continuous workflow.

Run a field test and a yard test
Start with a supervisor finding a specific structure, reviewing the current record, and retrieving a handover. Repeat the task with the user's actual device and expected connection conditions. If offline use is essential, demonstrate the complete disconnection and synchronization sequence.
Then move to the yard. Issue material, transfer some to a second project, and return only part of the balance. Ask which system owns each record and how a correction becomes visible elsewhere. This identifies whether you are buying a field application, an inventory application, or a connected arrangement.
Include permissions in the pilot. A free observer and a working supervisor need different access. Check the actual roles and the records each can see instead of treating a user-count comparison as a substitute for an access-control review.
Choose the model that matches your growth
Model two changes independently: adding people while sites stay constant, and adding sites while paid contributors stay constant. This reveals which cost driver matters to your business. Include the possibility that the product scope changes as you grow.
Request a written proposal for the chosen configuration. Use the demonstration to establish implementation responsibilities, usable exports, and the work that remains in other applications. Keep a record of unresolved requirements before rollout.
Make the evaluation practical
Your demo checklist
- List paid contributors separately from view-only users.
- Test permissions with a supervisor, administrator, and customer observer.
- Complete a field record under the connection conditions you actually face.
- Trace equipment movements across the yard and two sites.
- Confirm available integrations and separately priced products in writing.
Bring these scenarios to a CloudScaff demonstration, or use the software buyer’s guide to plan your wider evaluation.
Frequently asked questions
Is ScaffoldIQ priced per site?
The cited public pricing is per paid user every 28 days, with free view-only users and volume discounts. CloudScaff instead uses active-site tiers with unlimited users.
Is a 28-day charge the same as a monthly charge?
No. Use the same comparison period. The calculator shows a 365-day annualized run rate, while CloudScaff monthly costs are multiplied by twelve.
Does the cheapest calculator result identify the best product?
No. It compares recurring prices under stated assumptions. Evaluate feature coverage, additional products, implementation, and your operating process separately.
